Grinder Operator

This course trains students in the safe and effective operation of grinding machines used in fabrication, welding, and construction work. Trainees learn correct handling of hand grinders and bench grinders, proper selection of grinding and cutting discs, and safe work practices. The course prepares students to perform surface preparation, cutting, and finishing tasks with accuracy and safety.

This Course Consists Of:

• Introduction to grinding machines and accessories

• Types and selection of grinding, cutting, and polishing discs

• Safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Operating hand grinders and bench grinders

• Cutting, grinding, and surface finishing techniques

• Inspection, maintenance, and safe storage of tools

• Practical hands-on grinding exercises
