Mason

The Mason trade focuses on the skills required to construct and finish structures using bricks, blocks, stones, and concrete. At PROMOT NEPAL, mason training emphasizes hands-on practice, proper techniques, and safety standards used in real construction sites. Students learn to read basic drawings, prepare materials, and carry out quality masonry work, preparing them for employment in building and infrastructure projects. 

This training course consists of

1. Understanding Drawings & Measurements – Read basic drawings, mark layouts, and check levels and alignment.

2. Material Preparation – Select materials and mix mortar and concrete in correct proportions.

3. Brick & Block Laying – Lay bricks and blocks with proper bonding, spacing, and finishing.

4. Leveling & Alignment – Use tools to ensure straight, plumb, and level masonry work.

5. Plastering & Pointing – Apply plaster, finish surfaces, and carry out pointing work.

6. Tool Handling & Safety – Use masonry tools correctly and follow site safety practices.

7. Quality Check & Finishing – Inspect work for strength, accuracy, and finish quality.
