Building Electrician

This course trains students in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in residential and commercial buildings. Trainees learn wiring systems, electrical components, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques. The course prepares students to perform safe and efficient electrical work according to industry practices and national standards.

• Basic electrical concepts and safety rules

• Electrical tools, materials, and symbols

• Types of wiring systems (surface and concealed)

• Installation of switches, sockets, lights, and distribution boards

• Cable sizing and circuit protection devices

• Fault finding and basic electrical maintenance

• Practical hands-on electrical installation work
