Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)

This course trains students in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG/MAG Welding), a modern and efficient welding process used in fabrication, automotive, and industrial applications. Trainees learn equipment setup, wire feeding, shielding gas selection, welding techniques, and safety practices. The course prepares students to produce consistent, high-quality welds on various metals.

• Introduction to GMAW/MIG welding process

• Understanding equipment, wires, and shielding gases

• Safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Joint preparation and positioning
